About 3 months ago I was servicing 4 domains and a bunch of ancillary portfolio sites and I started thinking , how did I get here? and with such a mess of disconnected websites. So, I asked our favorite web guru Robert Zimmerman if he could unravel this mess and bring my content to a center?. Zimm did, and I am really happy with the results. Thanks, Zimm ! downs-art.com

With no expectations, what kind of image do you compose for a techno Bay Area couple that loves motorcycles, sports cars, ball gowns, good wine and other fun things like fairies and video games?. First, I tried to sell them 2 works on paper for the price of a painting. They didn't go for that and wanted something physically substantial , a painting. I don't consider myself a painter but more of a printmaker but I had a blast making this piece. I hope that my final art will challenge their expectations .

Here are a couple new DVD covers for Lynda.com in my rendered style. Excel 2010 and AutoCAD has just launched their 2011 version, how time flies in the software world!. I also included my designs and some of my architectural inspiration.
It was an honor to be asked to participate in this benefit exhibit. I made 3 pieces to make sure I got a good one. They are shown actual size. 100 HEADS FOR HAITI show curated by David Plunkert & Spur Design with all proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders. Opening Saturday April 10, 6-8:30.
I read in this months VIA magazine that the World famous Amish built fireplace mantles were being given away free!. This miracle invention that uses about the same electricity as a coffee maker puts out the heat and looks very stylish. The brains behind this beauty is a computer board that controls the Fireless Flame technology that was developed by Asian engineers. That's right, Asian engineers and the Amish getting together to build this invention that has no chimney, no vents, no wood and no smoke. This surprising collaboration inspired me to do this piece.
Do you like technology ?. I do, but I also need the balance of analog and then when I do too much analog work I need to get a fix of my rendered digital style. Here is an illustrated cover for a new Lynda.com DVD, Silverlight.
Silverlight is a powerful development platform for creating engaging, interactive user experiences for Web, desktop, and mobile applications when online or offline.

Here is a personal piece that I created inspired by Music, Film and Contemporary Mythology. After working digital for a week this is how I blow off steam, - paint thinner and oil based inks.
